Outreach programs:
We serve the girls in the community by giving back through our annual events. Our goal is to educate, motivate, empower and equip generations of youth and teenage girls by being agents of change.
Mentoring A Child for Success
Provided youth and teen girls age 9-19 with education, food, fun, inspiration and prizes. The topics covered were preparing participants to be mentored through educators in various fields, such education, health and politics. Alderman Thaddeus Jones was the key note speaker and his message to the youth was you can be anything you desire to be with hard work and education.
Teens Speak Out
Provided youth and teen girls age 9-19 with education, food, fun, inspiration and prizes. This event afforded participants with the opportunity to speak out on matters that concern them and their communities.
Discovering the Princess in You
Provided youth and teen girls age 9-19 with education, food, fun, inspiration and prizes. Each session was uniquely designed to divide participants into four modules focusing on life skills such as Preparing for College, Self-Esteem Building, Handling Money and Pampering by Mary Kay Consultants.
Girls Around the World
Provided youth and teen girls age 9-19 with education, food, dancing, poetry, singing, and testimonials from their peers on real life matters to help them avoid the pitfalls on their way to travel the world. There were gift bags with travel sized components to aid the participants for preparation for see the world as a bigger place, than the neighborhoods and communities they reside in.
Toys for Tots
Provided toys to over 50 children 0 months -13 years of ages with toys and educational tools. This outreach project was a blast and it put a smile on the faces of all participants. Thanks to the partnering military organization for all their donations.
